Ayala Systems, with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), recently participated in the 6th Philippine Participation in the Software Development Expo and Conference (SODEC) held last 14-16 May 2008 in Tokyo, Japan . This project is a follow through activity for the promotion of the Philippine capability in software development and outsourcing aimed to sustain the country's presence in the Japan market.

Ayala Systems flagged 'Incubation Support Services', the highlight of this year's participation as part of 'Global Bridge' - its suite of technology services that include Systems Integration, Global Resourcing, Offshore Software Development, Offshore Testing and Maintenance, Creative Services, Infrastructure Services, PeopleSoft Application, Documentum Application and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).

The Philippine delegation also included Advanced World Systems, Inc., Alliance software, Inc., Astra (Philippines), Inc., Imperium Technology, N-Pax Cebu Corporation, Tsukiden Software Philippines Group, and WeServ Systems International, Inc.

The Philippine delegation was able to present their software development/outsourcing capabilities, business matching activity, business seminars and hosted a networking reception for prospective Japanese partners and clients.

Ayala Systems enjoys the distinction of being one of the country's IT company with a subsidiary office in Japan, ASJ. This shows the company's commitment in promoting its products and services and expertise of the Filipinos in software technology.
